1. OPEN CASTING CALL

 

Observe is inviting applicants for an open casting of our Spring Summer 2026 Campaign to be released in December 2025.

Signed and unsigned applicants are welcome. If you are signed, please inform your agency of your application and provide contact details if possible.

 

Location: Melbourne, Australia (Exact location to be provided on application)

Date: 17th November 2025

Ages: 21 to 40

 

Images and footage may be taken on the casting day in order to document applicants. This footage may be used as behind the scenes content on social media. Please ensure that this is cleared with your agency if you are signed.

2. MARKETING/ADVERTSING & CONTENT ASSIST

 

Observe is seeking a casual team member to assist with Advertising and Content acquisition, working approximately 8–10 hours per week, with at least one day in-house at the Melbourne studio.

 

As part of the studio, you will represent the brand visually and strategically across Meta platforms, helping shape Observe’s digital presence through refined content and effective advertising. As a Marketing & Content Assist you will identify, capture, and curate material that aligns with Observe’s visual language and values, while achieving measurable results through targeted Meta campaigns.

 

The position is part-time and includes a two-month probation period, during which results and alignment with the brand will be assessed. Working location can be flexible, though a minimum of one day per week in the Williamstown, Melbourne studio is preferred. Weekly tasks may vary depending on project cycles, some weeks focusing more on content acquisition, others on campaign management and ad optimization.

 

TASKS INCLUDE (BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

 

· Plan, launch, and manage Meta Ad campaigns with clear performance objectives

· Research and stay up to date with on-trend fashion houses and brands with a similar aesthetic curation to Observe

· Collaborate closely with the Observe team to maintain consistency in brand tone and direction

· Assist in-studio on campaign shoot days when required

· Analyse ad results and continuously refine creative and targeting strategies

· Contribute to the development of new ideas for digital storytelling and campaign reach

 

PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

 

· Proven experience (certificate/qualification/course completion in Digital Marketing) using Meta Ads Manager and paid social media tools

· Based in Melbourne and available to work in-house at least one day per week

· Strong understanding of Observe’s brand values and visual identity

· Ability to capture, edit, and deliver content aligned with Observe’s visual standards

· Interest in clothing, design, and visual culture

· Awareness of current fashion trends and contemporary creative practices

· Proactive, organised, and able to work independently within a small team

· Familiarity with data-driven creative processes is a plus

Its practice explores the relationship between form, material, and process, developing collections that exist between fashion and architecture. Each piece is informed by restraint, utility, and longevity, reflecting a commitment to refinement across both physical and digital expression.

3. FASHION DESIGN INTERN

 

Observe is seeking a casual intern to assist with garment development and studio sampling, working closely with the design team in Williamstown.

As part of the studio, you will be involved in the process from research and concept development to sampling and technical execution in preparation for releases and fashion week presentations. The role requires an understanding of Observe’s aesthetic and approach to proportion, fabric, and detail. Tasks will include supporting fittings, assisting with pattern development, preparing tech packs, and maintaining communication with production partners.

The position is part-time and includes a two-month probation period. Working hours may vary depending on collection timelines, averaging 8–10 hours per week. At least one day per week in the Williamstown studio is required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Based in Melbourne and available to work in-house at least one day per week

· Currently studying or recently completed a fashion or design-related degree

· Strong understanding of Observe’s aesthetic and design values

· Skilled in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and familiarity with garment construction

· Detail-oriented and organized with a hands-on approach

· Interest in fabrication, form, and technical process

· Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced studio environment
